Your challenge is to take music from the upcoming Yars Rising soundtrack and put your own unique spin on it. Whether you’re into chiptune, EDM, hip-hop, trance, or any other genre, we want to hear your creations.

The remix must utilize music from Yars Rising. The submission must be your original work, incorporating the stems provided below. Any evidence of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.

Format Matters.

Submissions must be in MP3 or WAV format, with a maximum length of 3 minutes. Entries should be named following the format: “[Participant’s Name] - Yars Rising Remix.”

  • What file format should my submission be?

    Submissions must be in MP3 or WAV format, with a maximum length of 3 minutes. Entries should be named following the format: “[Participant’s Name] - Yars Rising Remix.”

  • What’s the deadline for submission?

    Remix submissions due by July 12th

  • What do I get if I win?

    ● First Place: Winner will be featured in the Yars Rising Orignal Soundtrack. You will receive special recognition on our social media channels and receive a Yars Rising care package when the game is released including a game key. Winner will also receive 1 month of weekly mentor sessions with an elite ICON Instructor.


    ● Second Place: You will receive special recognition on our social media channels and a Yars Rising care package when the game is released including a game key. 2nd place will also receive 1 ticket to ICON Rising Training Camp (Fall '24) in Los Angeles & an ICON swag pack.


     ● Third Place:You will receive special recognition on our social media channels as well as a game key on the platform of your choice. 3rd place will also receive 1 ticket to ICON Rising Training Camp (Fall '24) in Los Angeles.

  • When and how will the winners be announced?

    Winners announced the week of July 22nd. Follow our social media accounts to see and hear the winning remixes!

  • What is the judging criteria?

    Entries will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

    • Creativity and Originality: Innovation in transforming the original piece.
    • Production Quality: Clarity, mixing, mastering, and overall sound quality.
    • Cohesion: How well the remix elements integrate with the original game music.
