About Icon Collective Alumni Conference
The annual Icon Collective Alumni Conference celebrates the hard work and dedication of graduates who completed Icon programs in Los Angeles or Online. The free day-long conference featured a series of presentations, interactive discussions, and workshops taught by Icon Instructors, guest artists, and industry heavyweights. Designed to educate and inspire musical creativity, the Alumni Conference brings together Icon alumni, educators, artists, and staff to exchange ideas and explore the cutting edge of music and technology.
This years event was held at the Burbank Marriott on Sunday, July 9 as a way to bring the Alumni class, over 700 strong, back in one room to reconnect. The global Collective, represented by graduates from the online program, was able to tune in via live stream for the entirety of the program. The series of events kicked off with an open-forum Art of Flow session led by Icon Co-Founder Christopher Wight and ended with an intense Beat Battle sponsored by Ableton, which teased the prize of a brand new Ableton Push 2.
